Activities

At “De Vrijheid” we believe it is important for people to be able to meet each other and feel welcome. That is why we organize various activities every week that provide opportunities for socializing, relaxation, and conversation.

“De Huiskamer”

A few times a week, “De Huiskamer” (literally “The Living Room”) is open. You can drop by for a cup of coffee or tea, a chat, a game, or simply to enjoy some company. Volunteers provide a warm welcome and are happy to make time for a conversation.

Bible Reading Hour

During the Bible Reading Hour, we read a passage from the Bible together. We reflect on its meaning and what it can say to us today. There is space for questions and conversation, all in a relaxed atmosphere.

Whether you enjoy playing a game, being creative, sharing a meal, or simply listening to a Bible story, you are warmly welcome.

Toddler Hour

For children of toddler age, there is Toddler Hour. Together with a parent or grandparent, they can listen to a story, sing, do crafts, or play.

Lunch & Meals

Occasionally, we organize a shared lunch or a warm evening meal. It’s a cozy time to eat together, with attention and care for one another.

Creative Hours

Getting creative together is both relaxing and connecting. Whether you like crafting, painting, or just want to try something new, you are welcome to join in.

Vocabulary

Every other week on Wednesday morning, there is a toddler reading hour at the meeting house. All children aged 0–4 are welcome with their (grand)parents. There will be cheerful toddler books to read from, a craft activity, playtime, and even fruit! Will you join us at Vocabulary?

Coming up, we will be organizing… (calendar is in Dutch)
